The Genesis of Sheykhet Studios: The Jewish Museum Digital Twin

Sheykhet Studios originated with a pivotal project at the Jewish Museum in New York. Under the direction of James Snyder, Sheykhet Studios was engaged to facilitate internal coordination during the renovation of the museum’s permanent collection galleries. The task involved bridging multiple external parties—architects, designers, contractors, and owner’s representatives—as well as internal departments, including curatorial, directorial, education, and operations.

The studio created a central platform—a digital twin—owned by the museum. This digital twin became the hub for curatorial planning, visualization throughout the project, and ultimately the final installation process. This foundational project set the stage for Sheykhet Studios’ future work in digital twin creation.

The twin for also used for live curation. Here's a demonstrating of how that process functions.
